Anlässlich der Veröffentlichung der Archiv-Website (romarchive.eu) zeigte das interdisziplinäre Festival im Januar 2019 in der Akademie der Künste in Berlin den Reichtum und die Vielseitigkeit der europäischen Kulturproduktion in einem Programm mit Ausstellungen, Tanz, Konzerten, Filmen, Lesungen und Talks und Künstlern aus ganz Europa.
RomArchive – the Digital Archive of the Roma, makes Romani arts and cultures visible and illustrates their contribution to European cultural history. For the first time, counter-narratives told by Roma themselves create an internationally accessible, reliable source of knowledge on the internet, which will counter stereotypes and prejudices with facts.
On the occasion of the launch of the archive website (romarchive.eu)in January 2019 an interdisciplinary festival at Akademie der Künste in Berlin showed the wealth and diversity of European cultural production. The programme included exhibtions, dance, concerts, film, readings and talks with artists from all over Europe.
