Nikita Dhawan und María do Mar Castro Varela nahmen im Mai 2023 gemeinsam mit Künstler*innen und Kurator*innen an einem interdisziplinären Workshops, dem LABoratoires, in Dakar teil, um die Ausstellung Ré-imaginer le passé vorzubereiten. Maria do Mar Castro Varela und Nikita Dhawan beschäftigen sich in ihren Vorträgen mit der komplexen Beziehung zwischen kritischem Denken und revolutionärer Praxis. Sie konzentrieren sich darauf, wie die Förderung des kritischen Denkens dazu beitragen kann, sich eine nicht dominante Zukunft vorzustellen und Utopien aus hoffnungslosen Verhältnissen herauszuholen. Der anschließende Diskussion wirde von Isabel Raabe moderiert.
Nikita Dhawan and María do Mar Castro Varela took part in an interdisciplinary workshop, the LABoratoires, in Dakar in May 2023 together with artists and curators to prepare the exhibition Ré-imaginer le passé. Maria do Mar Castro Varela and Nikita Dhawan address the complex relationship between critical thinking and revolutionary practice in their presentations. They focus on how the promotion of critical thinking can help to imagine a non-dominant future and bring utopias out of hopeless conditions. The subsequent discussion is moderated by Isabel Raabe.
