Für das Projekt Moldova Camping schlugen Künstler und Kulturschaffende schlagen ihre Zelte im Berliner Theater Hebbel am Ufer/HAU2 auf. „Camping“ als Metapher für die Kunst der Improvisation, für Mobilität und Kommunikationsfreude. Träume werden wahr mit einfachen Mitteln – auch der moldauische Traum von einem ungeteilten, funktionierenden europäischen Staat?
Künstlerische Bestandaufnahmen und Visionen versuchen sich an Antworten auf Fragen wie: Was ist aus dem einstigen Obst- und Gemüseladen der UDSSR geworden? Wir funktioniert kritische Kunstproduktion im ärmsten Land Europas? Und was ist eigentlich mit Transnistrien?
Auf grünem Rollrasen inszenierte Nicoleta Esinencu ihr eigens für das Festival geschriebene Stück „√.md“ , unter „Diskurs Duschen“ sprachen moldauische Künstler und Intellektuelle, eine szenische Lesung präsentierte Reiseberichte aus Transnistrien von Tanja Dückers und Nicoleta Esinencu. Perfomances der Künstlergruppe Fischka und des Künstlers Pavel Braila sowie ein sprechender Automatenshop versorgten das Publikum mit moldauischen Geschichten und Objekten.
For the Moldova Camping project, artists and cultural workers pitched their tents at the Hebbel am Ufer/HAU2 theatre in Berlin. “Camping” as a metaphor for the art of improvisation, mobility and the joy of communication. Artistic surveys and visions try to find answers to questions such as..: What has become of the former fruit and vegetable shop of the USSR? How does critical art production work in Europe’s poorest country? And what about Transnistria?
Nicoleta Esinencu staged her piece “√.md”, written especially for the festival, on green turf; Moldovan artists and intellectuals spoke under “discourse showers”, a scenic reading presented travelogues from Transnistria by Tanja Dückers and Nicoleta Esinencu. Performances by the artist group Fischka and the artist Pavel Braila as well as an talking automate shop provided the audience with Moldovan stories and objects.
